NCX is growing and our team has just expanded with two additional members – Brooke Hogoboom, Brian Kemerling and Natasha Ravinand!
Brooke Hogoboom has joined the team as our Talent Acquisition Manager. Brooke brings 4 years of experience in talent acquisition, recruitment best practices, and staff development. Her true passion lies in bridging gaps between labor forces and management to help businesses achieve their objectives and grow and retain highly effective teams. Before joining NCX she worked in private equity helping start-ups effectively and efficiently scale. She is excited to be able to apply her experiences in the People Operations world to bring on passionate and driven individuals like herself to join the NCX team. When she isn’t thinking about Recruiting and People Operations best practices you can probably find her at the beach playing volleyball, cooking new meals, or tackling a seemingly never-ending list of DIY projects.
Brian Kemerling has joined the team as a Account Executive. He attended Western Michigan University and graduated with a BBA in Marketing. Prior to joining NCX, he spent 8 years working in the paperboard packaging industry. First beginning in customer service, then moving to sales, he worked with food and beverage companies of various sizes to bring new retail packaging concepts to market. He is excited to apply some of his key learnings in how to engage with brands to meet their sustainability goals, while also developing a greater understanding of forestry management.
Brian currently reside in Portland, OR. In his free time, he likes to explore the PNW with his dog and girlfriend, backpack, listen to podcasts, and play music.
Natasha Ravinand has joined the team as a Data Engineering Intern. Natasha is a San Francisco resident and current undergraduate at Yale University. She’s passionate about developing mission-driven technology with special interests in climate, politics, and health. She’s excited to spend the summer expanding her data skills, working within the NCX Engineering team, and being part of the climate solution. Natasha’s past experiences have included working at Numero, a political tech startup building campaign finance tools for Democratic candidates. In her free time, she enjoys curling up with a good book, finding new hole-in-the-wall eateries, or curating her Spotify library. This fall, Natasha plans to return to New Haven and resume her studies at Yale
