C.H. Guenther & Son was founded on a passion for building lasting relationships with remarkable food. Their expansive pantry of brands stocks communities world-wide with everything from appetizers to desserts, sauces, seasonings and more. While food is their calling, C.H Guenther & Son is also committed to doing what is right for the planet.

When exploring ways to further cut their emissions from difficult areas to reduce like employee travel, NCX was there to connect C.H. Guenther & Son with family forest landowners across the U.S. in states where their facilities are located. Their investment in NCX carbon credits created global climate benefits, and supported landowners in the communities they operate in.

Sustainability at C.H. Guenther & Son

C.H. Guenther & Son believes we are all stewards of the world we share, and their responsibility is to enhance the communities in which they conduct business by:

  • Providing good jobs and fair wages in a safe, fair and ethical work environment
  • Minimizing our impact on the environment
  • Engaging in responsible charitable giving

Local Impact & Employee Engagement

With locations across the United States, C.H. Guenther saw an opportunity to support family forest landowners in the areas surrounding their operations through NCX. They believe in protecting our natural resources while creating more sustainable systems that benefit the local communities involved. So when NCX explained how their investment in global climate benefit would also support local communities, it was an easy choice to make.

“We support ethical markets that protect natural resources. Our employees want to see their values at work in their communities. The NCX neighbor-to-neighbor marketplace connects the worth of natural resources to a sustainable local and global economy.”
