Greetings from Ocean Shores, Washington where SilviaTerra is presenting at the 2018 Intertribal Timber Conference.

SilviaTerra founders Zack Parisa and Max Nova discussed how SilviaTerra’s CruiseBoost remote sensing system is helping tribes use their CFI plots to develop stand-level inventories to improve forest management. We also continued the spirited debate about how pixel-level inventory is changing the stand concept – an idea we first introduced in our Forestry Source article, “The Map is not the Territory”.
